About The Position
The Division of Clinical Core Laboratory Services (CCLS) has an opportunity for an Associate Consultant. CCLS is a diverse group of laboratories dedicated primarily to the support of the Mayo Clinic practice in Minnesota by providing specimen collection, processing, analysis, and reporting. Eleven doctoral-level lab directors and more than 500 allied health staff work in the division. This position is in our Central Clinical Lab, which is a high-volume, complex laboratory performing over 5 million tests annually. This position will require the candidate to provide: Clinical coverage and oversight Support for test validation and quality systems Regulatory and compliance continuity Mentoring and academic engagement On-call support
Requirements
- Completed Clinical Pathology residency training
- Boarded by the American Board of Pathology in Clinical Pathology or having completed a COMACC-accredited Clinical Chemistry fellowship and boarded by American Board of Clinical Chemistry, National Register of Certified Chemists, or another board qualifying as HCLD
