About The Position

Clinical Assistant Professor-Audiology. 12 month, non-tenure track appointment, renewable annually. Job Description Offer comprehensive clinical evaluations and interventions for clients across all age groups, prioritizing pediatric populations. Provide clinical supervision for audiology graduate students and deliver graduate-level instruction. Assist with the oversight and maintenance of the clinic. Participate in interdisciplinary activities with other clinical units within the University. Serve as a member of the Intercampus Executive Committee of the KU Intercampus Program in Communicative Disorders (IPCD). Provision of other service-related activities (committee/sub-committee/taskforce membership) to the Department, IPCD, and University. Participate in student-assisted research activities. Requirements

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC).
  • Eligible for Kansas State Audiology License and Kansas State Hearing Aid License.
  • 2 years of clinical experience including evoked potential testing and hearing aid evaluation, fitting, and dispensing in pediatric populations.

  • Experience in clinical supervision of audiology graduate students.
  • Experience in graduate classroom instruction.
  • Interest in or experience with Auditory Processing Disorder.

Responsibilities
