We are seeking Career Track Clinical Scholars to engage in innovative teaching/learning for our Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Specialty in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program (Tucson). Rooted in the dynamic and essential role of acute care, our mission is to educate the next generation of Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and to improve access to high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals with complex and critical health needs. The University of Arizona College of Nursing and the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program are committed to Excellence-fostering a learning environment where all faculty, staff, and students are empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to our community. In addition to Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), our advanced practice specialties include Family NP, Pediatric NP, Psychiatric Mental Health NP, Nurse-Midwifery, and Nurse Anesthetist, as well as non-clinical specialties such as Executive Health Systems Leadership, Informatics and MS-DNP. Program faculty work collaboratively across disciplines to provide a transformative educational environment.
