About The Position

The Clinical Applications Manager plays a leading role in the successful execution of global clinical trials and the generation of high-quality evidence to support the safety, effectiveness, and market adoption of Cynosure Lutronic technologies. This position combines hands-on field leadership with strategic involvement in shaping clinical programs that inform product development and innovation. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician with a proactive, hands-on approach to site management, a strategic mindset capable of translating field experiences into actionable insights, and a passion for energy-based devices and elevating standards of care in Dermatology and Medical Aesthetics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Advanced degree (PA, MS, NP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 8+ years of clinical experience, in energy-based treatment delivery / clinical research.
  • Proven expertise and deep understanding of energy-based devices, developing clinical workflows, or executing clinical trials.
  • Deep familiarity with clinical-study design, working with IRB, data analysis, regulatory compliance, and publications.
  • Track record of engaging and influencing key opinion leaders and senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of laser-tissue interaction and clinical workflows in Dermatology and Medical Aesthetics.
  • Strong foundation in clinical study design, trial operations, and data management practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate complex information clearly across audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on actionable results.
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and adaptable in both independent fieldwork and cross-functional team environments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering hands-on patient treatments and end-to-end management of the Westford in-house clinic.
  • Serve as primary contact for clinical sites, ensuring smooth trial implementation, patient enrollment, protocol adherence, and on-time delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day trial operations across multiple studies, ensuring timelines, objectives, and budgets are met.
  • Oversee preparation and delivery of study materials, clinical supplies, and investigational devices.
  • Monitor site performance and compliance with study protocols, GCP, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and management of study documentation, including data, consents, and compliance records.
  • Analyze and summarize clinical data to support internal reports, publications, and regulatory filings.
  • Partner with R&D, Marketing, and regional clinical teams to develop and execute a clinical roadmap aligned with innovation strategy and unmet needs.
  • Shape and refine clinical protocols and endpoints to support evidence generation and regulatory success.
  • Provide field-based clinical insights to inform product design, user workflows, and commercial messaging.
  • Support claims development and regulatory submissions with credible clinical input.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, treatment practices, and standards of care in Dermatology and Aesthetics to guide forward-looking clinical programs.
