As a Clinical Administrative Coordinator, you’ll handle inbound calls from members regarding post-discharge benefits such as meals, transportation, and home care. You’ll document information accurately across multiple platforms and submit referrals to vendor partners, all while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, including telephonic support, with a focus on analyzing and resolving customer issues
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (create, edit documents), Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Ability to work any of our full time (40 hours / week), 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm CST from Monday - Friday, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime given the business need
  • Reside within the state of Minnesota
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced environment where you respond to needs of many people at the same time
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Working Knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate with members and providers
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Access databases
  • Experience with working within the Healthcare Industry

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for answering inbound calls from members about their post discharge benefits including meals, transportation, and home care
  • Accurately enter members and benefit information in a variety of platforms
  • Navigate between computer screens and platforms to research member information
  • Participate in TEAM chat throughout the day
  • Ongoing review of workflows and job aids to ensure correct and efficient processes are being followed
  • Complete work that is frequently completed without established procedures
  • Work independently
  • Potentially act as a resource for others
  • Other tasks as requested by their manager
