Job Opportunity: We are growing and we are looking for a Clinic Supervisor to join our team! You Are: Ready to live out our core values in patient and team member interactions Able to create an enthusiastic, positive work environment A strong communicator with team members, patients, and doctor teams Able to provide ongoing coaching and support to a team Able to delegate tasks and mentor others You Will Make an Impact By: Supervising the work activities of the team, and delegating tasks to ensure adequate work loads for team members. Setting goals and objectives with the team, and mentoring and guiding team members to help achieve set goals. Addressing staffing needs and overseeing scheduling of staff to maintain adequate coverage for patient appointments. Cross-training and working within clinic settings on a regular basis to stay connected with clinic processes, and communicating efficiencies to clinic managers. Building and fostering a positive team environment and promoting a positive work culture and experience. Coaching team members on performance in the clinic, and providing feedback on a formal and informal basis. Assisting in clinical training for new hires and existing team members, and working with the training team to ensure new hires are ready for success in their role. Participating in annual performance reviews by providing feedback and identifying development needs and opportunities for staff. Overseeing clinic inventory, including supplies, equipment and prescriptions/drops to ensure adequate stock levels and equipment maintenance. Approving time off requests and approving timecards in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in healthcare administration, or two to three years’ related experience.
  • Ready to live out our core values in patient and team member interactions
  • Able to create an enthusiastic, positive work environment
  • A strong communicator with team members, patients, and doctor teams
  • Able to provide ongoing coaching and support to a team
  • Able to delegate tasks and mentor others

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Certified Ophthalmic Technician certification preferred
  • Previous management experience in a healthcare setting helpful
