Job Summary The Clinic Quality Coordinator supports the physician practice group by monitoring, reporting, and assisting with clinical quality initiatives and compliance programs. This position works under the direction of clinic leadership to track performance metrics, identify care gaps, maintain attribution lists, and provide data to support value-based and incentive program requirements. The Clinic Quality Coordinator collaborates with providers, staff, and quality teams to promote high-quality patient care, improve clinical outcomes, and ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating courtesy, professionalism, and ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and common office equipment
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
  • Frequent sitting, walking, and standing in an office/clinic environment
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds (such as files, boxes, or office supplies)
  • Requires ability to use standard office equipment and computers

  • Work performed primarily in a clinic/office environment
  • Must be able to maintain focus and professionalism during periods of heavy patient volume and multiple demands
  • Minimal exposure to clinical risks when working in patient care areas
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No license required upon hire
  • Certifications such as CPR and/or compliance training (if required) must be obtained within time frame required by facility policy
  • Minimum one year of experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and prior experience with quality reporting or data management preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate in clinic and organizational quality teams to support development and implementation of standardized quality guidelines, protocols, and training
  • Monitor quality and compliance metrics across multiple payer and incentive programs, ensuring timely identification and resolution of care gaps
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to track progress on quality initiatives and incentive program requirements
  • Maintain patient attribution and annual wellness visit (AWV) lists and support outreach efforts to promote compliance with quality measures
  • Prepare and submit routine quality reports for leadership review
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to improve workflows, enhance compliance, and support achievement of organizational quality goals
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding quality metrics, reporting requirements, and best practices
