Clinic Ambassador - Training and development - SUPPLEMENTAL VARYING SHIFTS
About The Position
QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Willing to work varied hours with flexible schedules; possess good communication skills. Must be enrolled as a junior or senior in a local high school or equivalent. Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to function as a team member in a multi-task-oriented environment. Maintain and enforce privacy, confidentiality, and respect of patients, family members, and peers. Ability to follow and understand detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to respond to changes in a fast-paced environment, productively and efficiently. Ability to pay attention to detail. Ability to work with minimum supervision. TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Have a full range of body motion by being able to bend, twist, lift, push and pull. Must be able to withstand constant walking and standing up to 6 hours per day. Push/pull hospital equipment. Must be able to function during periods of high environmental stress. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Promote a positive work environment by taking personal responsibility for establishing good working relationships with co-workers. Demonstrate professionalism during all levels of interaction with patients, medical staff, colleagues, and patient families. Assist primary Medical Assistant with rooming patients promptly to examination/procedure rooms for physician clinic visit and/or procedures. Assist primary Medical Assistant in providing appropriate patient intake information upon arrival in clinic and prioritize interventions as necessary with the collaboration with Clinic RN and/or Physician. Assist primary Medical Assistant with office procedures. Assist primary Medical Assistant with cleaning, maintaining, and caring for various procedural equipment. Assist primary Medical Assistant with restocking medical supplies in all examination rooms; order and maintain supplies as necessary. MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform other duties as assigned.
