This position supports the U.S. Green Building Council California (USGBC-CA’s) efforts in building California’s resilience muscle, from local communities to statewide engagement. As our Climate Resilience Coordinator, you will elevate our efforts to bring resilience education and training to those who can make the most impact, drive community engagement and workshops on a local level, and help design and deliver programming to transition us to a more resilient future, all while collaborating with partners across our robust and diverse nonprofit ecosystem. This position is slated to begin in March 2026, and will be an integral part of our USGBC-CA team reporting to our Director, Workforce Development and Training. IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who works collaboratively internally and externally, to advocate for change through the lens of green building practices. They are eager to dive into the research, develop the relationships needed to promote and implement our climate resilience goals, and support our mission for a healthier environment for all.
