Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Previous experience in healthcare, behavioral health, medical office, or direct client care settings (preferred)
  • Experience supporting clinical workflows and electronic health record (EHR) systems (strongly preferred)
  • Experience working alongside nursing or multidisciplinary clinical teams (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to observe, document, and report changes in client presentation to licensed staff
  • Ability to manage conflict appropriately and support de-escalation efforts
  • Adaptability and ability to respond effectively in fast-paced, evolving situations
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • High moral and ethical values with appropriate interpersonal boundaries
  • Emotional intelligence and maturity of judgment
  • Willingness to be open to learning and growing in a clinical environment
  • Flexibility to accommodate changes in work schedule as needed
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate references

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS) treatment workflows in a behavioral health setting
  • Understanding of safety protocols, infection control practices, and structured therapeutic environments
  • Experience with web-based products and software systems

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive, supportive relationships with clients to foster a safe, therapeutic environment
  • Encourage and facilitate client participation in programming and daily activities while ensuring adherence to schedules
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to department heads regarding client and departmental needs
  • Support nursing and clinical staff with client preparation for appointments and clinical services
  • Observe and promptly report changes in client medical or behavioral status to licensed staff
  • Intervene compassionately in client crisis situations, supporting de-escalation and emotional regulation
  • Obtain and accurately document client information, including vital signs, as permitted by training and policy
  • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and timeliness
  • Support medication management workflows under nursing supervision, within your scope of training
  • Prepare and maintain clinical areas, equipment, and supplies in accordance with infection control and safety standards
  • Manage patient admission and discharge processes using software systems
  • Support Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS) treatment sessions by preparing rooms and assisting with client preparation
  • Compile and report patient outcome and satisfaction data to support quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate across departments on performance improvement projects and special initiatives
  • Learn and work toward independent facilitation of psychoeducational and skills-focused group sessions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
