About the Role: Client Specialist - Business Operations Wage Information - $23.00-$26.00/hr The Client Specialist – Business Operations plays a key role in keeping our client CEOs organized, efficient, and moving forward. You will partner closely with CEOs to streamline operations, support business development, and ensure a smooth contracting and onboarding experience for their clients. This position involves daily check-ins with the CEO to identify priorities, move projects forward, and ensure critical items receive attention. You will maintain CRM pipelines, advance sales opportunities, coordinate meetings, and follow up with prospects and clients. You’ll also run short-term projects and may act as the gatekeeper of the CEO's time and focus. A strong portion of this role includes handling contracting workflows — preparing agreements in HubSpot, tracking paperwork through completion, interfacing with client teams, and occasionally onboarding into client systems. This requires persistence, great communication, and a positive sense of humor during follow-ups. We value proactive initiative, professionalism, curiosity, and a solutions-focused mindset. You should enjoy creating order out of chaos and contributing ideas that help our clients’ businesses grow. This is a part-time, remote role that may include occasional weekend work to support board or advisory meetings. Further Details: This role requires close communication and collaboration with the Client company management. The Client Specialist - Business Operations will meet daily with the Client CEO to talk through challenges and sales opportunities. The Client Specialist - Business Operations will prepare for these meetings by being ready to discuss pertinent topics such as: Deliverables Project statuses Client issues Business development opportunities Preparation for internal meetings The Client Specialist - Business Operations will likely help the Client CEO specifically in the following ways: CRM sales pipeline maintenance Sending out sales emails Following a sales process Preparation for internal team meetings Client development work as requested The Client Specialist - Business Operations will document their work so that we have good operating procedures around the work based on the training provided. Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Fluency in spoken and written English (second language a plus)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving ability
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent judgment
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organization skills
  • Positive attitude and persistence — especially during follow-ups
  • Strong tech proficiency: multitasking across browsers, tabs, and tools, experience and interest in AI is a plus
  • CRM experience
  • Reliable home workspace: quiet, distraction-free, with a closing door
  • Hard-wired Ethernet connection; minimum 50 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload speeds
  • To ensure the security of client data, team members may NOT use satellite or public network connections. Depending on the team, VPN may not be allowed.
