Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, portfolio construction, and asset allocation.
  • Familiarity with U.S. broker-dealer account opening processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with offshore structures and investment vehicles for non-U.S. clients.
  • Proficiency in Pershing NetX360.
  • Understanding of trade execution processes across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, funds, FX).
  • Strong operational knowledge of money movements (wires, ACH, DTC, ACAT transfers).
  • Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Regulatory licenses: SIE and Series 7 required; Series 66 to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Fluency in Portuguese (required); Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers with administrative tasks, client analysis, and day-to-day account management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Onboarding, Middle Office, Back Office, Legal, Compliance, Asset Managers) to ensure efficient operations and an enhanced client experience.
  • Manage and process client instructions, including wires, ACH, journals, DTC transfers, ACAT and non-ACAT transfers, ensuring full compliance with firm policies.
  • Execute trade orders (equities, fixed income, options, FX) with the trading desk as well as processing trades with internal systems.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communication, delivering high-quality client service and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Assist clients in achieving their financial and investment objectives, including portfolio construction, asset allocation, and liquidity planning.
  • Generate investment ideas and collaborate with investment teams to deliver tailored solutions aligned with client needs and risk profiles.
  • Monitor macroeconomic, industry, and market developments to support investment recommendations.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews, ensuring suitability and updating client profiles (e.g., financial situation, risk tolerance, source of wealth).
  • Support the structuring and maintenance of offshore investment vehicles for international clients.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including prospecting and client acquisition.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, feedback, and mentorship of junior team members.
