About The Position

Lee Pesky Learning Center (LPLC) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Client Services Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. LPLC is a leader in education nonprofits, providing evaluation, academic intervention, and academic coaching to individuals facing obstacles to learning. Since 1997, we have empowered thousands of learners, families, and educators. This role is essential to creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment for clients, families, and staff, especially as we transition and enhance our internal systems and technology. The Client Services Coordinator plays a key role in daily operations and client experience. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a willingness to learn and adapt as systems evolve.

Requirements

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organization skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities
  • Strong customer service mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Technology skills (Microsoft Office required; experience with databases/CRMs a plus)
  • Adaptability and openness to change, especially during system transitions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Innovative thinking will be a value
  • 1–2 years of office or administrative experience (nonprofit experience a plus)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact—greet clients, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phones, manage inquiries, and route communications appropriately
  • Support a welcoming and calm environment for clients and staff
  • Assist with scheduling, confirmations, and calendar coordination
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and data entry across systems
  • Support billing, payments, and basic financial tracking
  • Help maintain organized office systems and workflows
  • Utilize and navigate multiple systems (scheduling, CRM, billing, etc.)
  • Support team members with basic IT troubleshooting and systems equipment use
  • Demonstrate openness to learning new tools and improving processes
  • Manage office supplies and vendor coordination
  • Maintain shared spaces and overall office organization
  • Support internal communication and team coordination
