( Top O' Michigan Insurance Solutions ) is seeking a Client Service Specialist who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and delivering excellent service. No prior insurance experience is required -we'll train you and help you get licensed. What matters most is your attitude, work ethic, and desire to grow. This role is the frontline of our agency, supporting clients, Account Managers, and Producers while ensuring every interaction reflects our high service standards. Position Summary The Client Service Specialist provides day-to-day service and support to personal insurance clients and internal team members. Responsibilities include policy changes, payments, basic claims assistance, and administrative support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Strong desire to learn; coachable and resourceful
  • Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who works well independently and with a team
  • Career-minded with long-term growth goals
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Michigan Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred but not required
  • Willingness to obtain insurance license (we help you)
  • Prior customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer and route all inbound client calls
  • Process client payments accurately and timely
  • Gather insurance quote information and assign appropriately
  • Counsel clients on basic insurance questions
  • Assist with glass and towing claims
  • Process endorsements and verify accuracy
  • Update client and policy information
  • Issue auto ID cards
  • Process mortgagee changes
  • Prepare and distribute policy documents upon request
  • Provide service support to Account Managers and Producers
  • Assist walk-in clients professionally and efficiently
  • Participate in team meetings and training
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive engagement
  • Complete additional projects as assigned
