Your Work and How You'll Make a Difference: At Behavioral Innovations (BI), we understand that every family’s autism journey is unique. As a Client Intake Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for families inquiring about Diagnostic and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Every client’s journey with autism is unique, and the Intake Associate personalizes each interaction with empathy, professionalism, and accuracy. Their goal is to help families move into care as quickly and smoothly as possible. This role supports the Intake Advocates through administrative accuracy, strong customer service, and consistent partnership with leadership to ensure the highest standard of family experience. Client Intake Associates show the willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative while working collaboratively with their team. Above all, they uphold BI's core values. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or relevant work experience as an Intake Specialist in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, continually changing, and results-oriented environment as part of a rapidly growing organization.
  • Ability to multitask effectively, including listening, typing, taking notes, and navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and timely data entry, ensuring accurate and up-to-date medical records that support high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with intake, client services, and/or sales is preferred, as you will be communicating to prospective clients who have requested information about our services.
  • Experience with Salesforce & Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with families via phone, email, chat, and text, building trust and understanding their unique needs.
  • Guide parents through the intake process, ensuring a seamless transition into ABA therapy.
  • Verify insurance information and ensure autism diagnosis meets insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with key teams (Client Intake Advocates, Center Administrators, Authorization Specialists, etc.) to streamline enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, EMR systems, and other platforms.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely responses and clear, empathetic communication.
  • Commitment to upholding HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
