About The Position

The Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM) is a strategic leader within Insight’s Go To Market (GTM) Division, responsible for executive-level relationship management, multi-million-dollar account growth, and end-to-end delivery success across our largest and most complex clients. This role operates at the intersection of sales strategy, delivery excellence, and client advocacy, ensuring that Insight is viewed as a trusted advisor and long-term strategic partner rather than a transactional vendor. The Senior CEM leads account-wide initiatives that drive year-over-year revenue growth, expand lines of business, and deliver a white-glove client experience. Partnering closely with Account Executives, Project Managers, Presales, and Delivery teams, the CEM orchestrates all client engagements to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, and measurable business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA) strongly preferred.
  • Professional certifications in strategic account management, project/program management (PMP, PgMP), and/or ITIL highly desirable.
  • Formal training in executive relationship management, solution selling methodologies (Miller, Heiman, Challenger, SPIN), and negotiation strategy.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise account management, client success leadership, or consultative sales, with a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar accounts and driving YoY revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for all client sales/delivery matters.
  • Understand the client’s business, industry trends, priorities, and competitive landscape; proactively communicate strategic insights to sales teams.
  • Guide the client through innovation strategies, transformation roadmaps, and governance recommendations aligned to their business objectives.
  • Lead monthly Client Success Plan reviews with client executives and Insight leadership.
  • Collect, analyze, and present key metrics to demonstrate business impact and ROI.
  • Partner with Delivery leadership to identify incremental sales opportunities across solution lines.
  • Monitor internal operations to ensure timelines are met, deliverables are on track, and risks are proactively mitigated.
