RIVA 2026 internships are here! We are seeking a summer intern to support our Client Delivery team. This intern will be working side by side with our VP of Client Delivery along with many other stakeholders on our leadership team. This is an invaluable opportunity to gain professional experience in conjunction with your field of study supporting a diverse mix of National Security, Federal Civilian, and Federal Health portfolios. Expectations include strong organization skills, managing day-to-day administrative needs, supporting portfolio leads, and adhering to all regulatory and compliance guidelines. Will play a crucial role in supporting our client delivery team to ensure seamless execution of projects and exceptional service delivery to our clients. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in client management, project coordination, and operational support within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidates will have strong analysis skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to interpret data. Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn with a positive attitude towards new challenges and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • GPA in your major of 3.0 or greater
  • Local to the greater DC/Northern VA area. Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity. Onsite meetings and RIVA events will be required as needed. Most of this work can be performed remotely.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or work experience in client management, project coordination, or related fields is advantageous but not required.

  • Building professional relationships within the team as well as with members of other departments within the company as well as, external customers
  • Proficiency in Slack
  • GovCon experience

Responsibilities

  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing project documentation, and tracking project timelines.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data to support project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality checks to ensure accuracy of deliverables.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including plans and reports.
  • Research: Conduct industry research to support client projects.
  • Administrative Support: Help with scheduling and organization.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Continuous Learning: Seek opportunities for skill development and growth.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Assist with additional tasks as needed.
