Unison Health is seeking compassionate and driven individuals to join their team as Client Care Technicians. In this contingent role, the technician will provide both direct and indirect care to clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. This position combines clinical and administrative responsibilities, supporting both client care and office operations. Training will be provided, and prior experience in healthcare or related fields is preferred. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic healthcare environment with clients across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients
  • Answer phones
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments
  • Explain screening processes
  • Route calls appropriately
  • Process prior authorizations
  • Update client records
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of client waiting areas and lobby
  • Distribute health information to medical staff
  • Manage office mail
  • Administer injections under supervision
  • Prepare drug samples under supervision
  • Perform TB screenings under supervision
  • Take vital signs under supervision
  • Assist in client referrals to other medical facilities and programs
  • Document client care activities
  • Ensure confidentiality
  • Manage medication samples
  • Process payments
  • Coordinate appointments
  • Collaborate with APRNs and physicians for client care and office support
  • Maintain schedules
  • Ensure adequate coverage
  • Serve as liaison between medical assistants and supervisors
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development
  • Maintain certification requirements
  • Document training completion
  • Provide hands-on clinical support including vital signs, injections, TB screenings, and assisting with referrals under supervision
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing prior authorizations, and maintaining office organization
