Performs a variety of advanced administrative support duties. This position supports the Clerkship Director in managing the medical students. This person functions with a high degree of independence. SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTABILITY: Responsible for managing the operations, systems, and processes of the office. Participates in the orientation of medical students entering the General Surgery program. NATURE AND SCOPE: Internal contacts include senior administrators, faculty, medical students, and staff. External contacts include vendors, surveyors, and the general public.
