About The Position

This position will exercise considerable independent judgment in the application of principles and practices of administrative, personnel and fiscal management. This position will serve as the administrative "right-arm" to the department director whose duties will include aiding in the development of the division's annual operating budget and provide revenue and expenditure analysis when requested by senior management, analyzing possible opportunities for improvement and recommending and implementing solutions, as applicable. The position will also serve as the primary administrative liaison with the COCC Human Resources Department and will coordinate and manage all Central Depository level personnel (HR) related activities. The position will also aid, but not limited to, the development and implementation of departmental strategic plans, key performance indicators, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of administrative experience including personnel, financial administration, contracts administration, or procurement are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in written formats to various levels within the organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the development of the division's annual operating budget and provides revenue and expenditure analysis when requested by senior management, analyzing possible opportunities for improvement, recommending, and implementing solutions, as applicable.
  • Administers and manages all departmental HR/personnel activities as liaison to COCC Human Resources Department.
  • Develops, proposes, revises, and implements departmental plans, policies, and procedures. Performs other varied high-level administrative duties, as assigned.
  • Attends a variety of meetings with internal and external personnel, to exchange, obtain and update information regarding departmental related functions.
  • Performs various administrative functions associated with Child Support and Alimony enforcement (Title IV-D and non-IV-D)
  • Supervises the active monitoring and review the work/production, training, and cross-training of subordinate clerical staff.
  • Responds to inquiries and requests for information from attorneys, litigants, the court, and the public.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
