About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The incumbent in this position is responsible for overseeing the daily audit of cage, slots, and non-gaming revenue areas. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring revenue audit to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in casino revenue audit.
Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
Must successfully pass background check.
Must maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data and casino policies.
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
The Gaming industry, including principles and practices of a capital and operations budget.
The following office systems: Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and other accounting systems.
10-Key calculator.
Sound interpersonal judgment and decision-making skills.
Financial systems and proficiency with spreadsheet software.
Audit functions.
Regulatory requirements.
Perform basic mathematical problems.
Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Effectively perform multiple tasks.
Interface professionally with business contacts and guests.
Communicate effectively with coworkers, and management.

Responsibilities

Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
Responsible for auditing all casino accounting activities.
Responsible for verification of paper trail of all casino monies as required by gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
Responsible for auditing jackpots, hopper fill, table fill and table credit transactions and the verification of attendance counts.
Responsible for the reporting of daily income.
Maintains manual accounting logs.
Responsible for all non-gaming audits.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
Adheres to all Illinois Gaming Regulations.
Attend seminars when needed.
