About The Position

Clerical Support Staff Clerical Support Staff is responsible for being a typist of office correspondence. The typist prepares word processing correspondence such as letters, memos, postcards, and other projects for the ministry. Clerical Staff also provides relief desk coverage and assistance to other departments as needed. Manage Word Processing Prepare word processing correspondence, merge masters with inserts, and add enclosures while ensuring accuracy. Follow department protocol and specific instructions for each type of letter master. Make corrections requested by proofers and complete projects in a timely manner. Assist with Typing Projects Type special projects from various departments. Manage any assigned projects while being aware of the office workload and seeking to assist others as needed. Provide Desk Coverage Assume receptionist responsibilities for our outlying office assistants when needed. Answer the phone, take messages, greet guests, make appointments, and assist with additional tasks as needed. Assist with Various Projects Assist as assigned with making deliveries, training new employees, assisting visitors, chaperoning, and helping other offices when additional workers are needed. FLSA Status - Scanning (Non-exempt) Education Required Education: HS Preferred Education: BS - Office Administration
