As a Cleared Security Patrol in Clearfield, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, conducting routine patrols and visibility checks to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or reports, document observations, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and local partners. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Monitor access control points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas per post orders.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and irregular activities in written reports and logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
