About The Position

As a Cleared Security Patrol Officer in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an unarmed, driving patrol officer, supporting day to day security-related operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter incidents, assist with access control, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Support access control by checking credentials, verifying authorization for entry, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site-specific requirements.
  • Complete detailed shift documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant observations to the Allied Universal chain of command.
