You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to calls for service, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. Requirements

An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, labs, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with access control by checking identification, supporting visitor processing, and directing authorized personnel to the appropriate locations.
Observe and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance issues, and communicate findings to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical incidents, fire and/or alarm activations, and disruptive behavior.
Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control panels, and report irregularities per site procedures.
Complete detailed security-related reports, activity logs, and incident documentation using required formats and timelines.
Support a professional environment by providing clear directions, answering general questions, and escalating concerns through the established chain of command.
Coordinate with internal teams and/or emergency responders as directed, assisting with scene control and information sharing until relieved.
Participate in post orders reviews, site-specific training, and shift briefings to maintain familiarity with current procedures and client expectations.
