About The Position
Join Our Team at The Cleveland Orchestra – Cleaning Supervisor Severance Music Center is a historic and iconic venue dedicated to artistic excellence and unforgettable musical experiences. We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to help maintain the elegance, cleanliness, and legacy of this treasured space. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, event setups, and staff scheduling to ensure Severance remains pristine and welcoming for guests, musicians, and staff. You’ll play a key part in preserving the building’s fine finishes and architectural beauty, while upholding our high standards of service and safety.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of cleaning supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and fine finish care
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Responsibilities
- Supervise and participate in detailed cleaning of public and backstage areas
- Ensure accurate and timely event setups and teardowns
- Train and lead Hall Staff in specialized cleaning techniques
- Manage inventory and uphold sustainability practices
- Collaborate with venue leadership to maintain a safe, elegant environment
