About The Position
CPC Logistics is currently hiring Class A CDL Local Truck Drivers assigned to work with the John Deere Private Fleet Intermodal Operations in Channahon, IL. Drivers will be responsible for securing and moving containers to and from various railyards in the Chicagoland area and to the Quad Cities and back. Currently looking for drivers for Monday thru Friday shift 8am-6pm, and Sunday thru Thursday 4pm-2am, and Sunday thru Thursday 8pm-6am. Requirements
- Valid and current Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor -trailer driving experience
- Must have HAZMAT endorsement with 90 days of Hire
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements
- Experience driving in inclement weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Intermodal experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Securing and moving containers to and from various railyards in the Chicagoland area and to the Quad Cities and back.
Benefits
- $29.50/hour-Monday thru Friday 8am-6pm
- $30.95/hour - Sunday thru Thursday 4pm-2am
- $31.85/hour- Sunday thru Thursday 8pm-6am
- Overtime after 8 OR after 40 hours.
