About The Position
Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking experienced Heavy Haul Transport Drivers to join our team! We’re looking for Class A CDL drivers with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. This local/regional position involves hauling high, wide, and heavy loads using lowboy, Landoll, step-deck, flatbed trailers, and heavy-duty rollbacks. Manual transmissions only—no slip seating! All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned to a truck. SIGN-ON BONUS Hired by February 2nd, 2026 $2500 Essential Functions Maneuver tractor and trailers into loading/unloading positions, following signals from crew and ensuring safe positioning Pull trailers configured with tow bars or goosenecks as needed Load and unload trucks, operate special loading equipment, and assist others as required Secure equipment for transport using ropes, chains, binders, etc. Operate multi-axle trailers for heavy equipment transport Use GPS mapping effectively Work in all weather conditions Physical Requirements Lifting, crawling, pulling, frequent use of hands, bending, reaching, and climbing Significant physical strength and stamina Key Behaviors Passionate, motivated, and open to growth and challenges. Required Skills & Qualifications Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience Current DOT Medical Card TWIC Card ( within 30 days of hire) HAZMAT endorsement ( within 90 days of hire) Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse Clean driving record ( for at least the last 3 years) MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test Experience with heavy equipment hauling required MUST be able to drive manual transmission trucks Commission Pay: 25% Commission- Our drivers on average earn $1,200 - $1,500+ a week. Pay guarantee of $1000/week (whichever is greater) This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary-paid position. Requirements
- Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience
