About The Position

This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and investigating P&C insurance claims to determine their validity and ensure accurate and fair settlements. This role involves examining policy coverage, gathering evidence (such as statements, reports, and documentation), interviewing claimants and witnesses, and identifying potential fraud or inconsistencies. We’re looking for a motivated Claims Professional to handle a variety of low to moderate complexity Personal and Commercial Lines auto, general liability (GL), and property damage (PD) claims. In this role, you’ll: Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while delivering outstanding customer service. Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys. Manage active files, ensure accurate reserving, and maintain compliance with audit guidelines. Learn and grow through hands-on training, mentorship, and project opportunities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and contribute across multiple functional areas
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of managing priorities and delivering results in fast-paced settings
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to take initiative in evolving business environments
  • Experience handling auto and GL/PD claims is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Associate in General Insurance and/or Associate in Claims designation.
