The Claims Analyst will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and resolve higher exposure claims arising from automobile and general liability incidents generally involving auto and structural property damage claims. The investigation includes gathering facts of loss, determining and evaluating coverage, liability, and damages, with the setting of proper reserves and in compliance with all laws, insurance company guidelines and McLane policies and procedures. This position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office a minimum of four days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX. What you’ll do as a Claims Analyst II\: Investigate, evaluate and negotiate auto property damage and structural property damage claims. Effectively work with and communicate information to and from clients, claimants, vendors, outside adjusters, attorney(s) and other internal and external resources. Investigate losses to determine source, scope, and extent of liability and damages, as well as identify and handle recovery from responsible third parties. Evaluate claims for proper reserve, liability, settlement, and payments. Make simple to complex liability evaluations and decisions involving disputed claims by applying multi-jurisdictional negligence schemes. Handle Arbitration filing as applicant and respondent Document and communicate all claim activities timely and effectively and in a manner that supports the outcome of the claim. Achieve fair, equitable, and timely claim disposition that is consistent with company expectations. Maintain positive relationships and creates a high level of customer service.
