About The Position
Performs all required procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab and operates specialized equipment including, but not limited to, the computer system, hemodynamic monitoring and have working knowledge of cardiac catheterization lab.
Requirements
- Graduate of an appropriate accredited program or health science degree
- BLS upon completion of orientation or after one month of hire
- LVN, EMT-P, ARRT, or 2 years consecutive cath lab experience.
- Answer telephones
- Input data into computer programs
- Compile statistics
- Maintain patient charts
- Previous diagnostic experience
- Generate reports
- Working knowledge of viewing equipment
- Working knowledge of hemodynamic equipment and able to problem solve basic error messages
- Working knowledge of sterile procedures
- Must be operational in (2) positions
- OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
