Cafaro is seeking a dedicated, full-time Civil Engineering Technician to join our Engineering Department. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working alongside Professional Engineers while contributing to a wide variety of development and property-related projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role, collaborating closely with civil engineers, architects, leasing agents, construction managers, and attorneys to produce essential documents, including, Legal Descriptions, Engineering Construction Drawings, and Leasing Plans.

Requirements

An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-focused
Ability to take direction and meet deadlines, working effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Effective time management skills
Must possess a positive and professional attitude

Responsibilities

Prepare legal descriptions for land parcels and easements within the company's property portfolio.
Develop and coordinate in-house utility plans.
Accurately interpret, review, and utilize land surveys and existing civil engineering drawings.
Support Civil Engineers by executing drafting assignments and managing project documentation.
