About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead and execute a variety of civil engineering projects, including site design, grading, road design, and hydrology. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong technical expertise, proven leadership abilities, and a track record of mentoring junior engineers. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program (Master’s degree preferred).
9–12+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, depending on education.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S. with active NCEES record.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D; familiarity with hydrology and hydraulics software.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Experience managing large project teams and budgets.
Ability to travel and attend local client or company meetings.
Pre-employment drug test, background check, and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform civil engineering design and drafting for projects from conception to completion.
Prepare technical documents including reports, design drawings, and specifications.
Train and mentor junior staff in technical skills, software, and project execution.
Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D for design and drafting; oversee and review work prepared by others.
Perform engineering calculations, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, and site layouts.
Communicate effectively with regulatory agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Provide field services, including construction observations and technical documentation.
Prepare project fees, contribute to marketing efforts, and assist with business development.
Ensure all work meets applicable codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
