We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Civil Engineer, you'll work on multiple unique projects, ensuring they meet U.S. military design standards. Your day may include drafting developing site plans, prepare grading and drainage designs, and work collaboratively with a team of other Engineers and Designers. Why Join RQ? Requirements

  • A BS degree in Civil Engineering is the minimum formal education required for this position
  • Licensed Professional Engineer is required
  • A minimum of five (5) years qualifying experience as a civil designer
  • Specific software literacy required: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Work and MS Excel
  • Travel to jobsites, as needed, is required
  • All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
  • all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the design-build construction industry
  • Department of Defense (DoD) experience is preferred
