About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Senior Civil Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from project entitlements and preliminary design through construction documents and construction administration.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
• Minimum of 8 years of professional land development experience in the design of commercial, office, higher education, life sciences, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal, and/or Federal projects including:
• Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, and earthwork calculations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills

Nice To Haves

• Registration in Georgia preferred
• Stormwater experience in Georgia and Southeast USA preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Specification preparation experience preferred
• Ability to foster long term client relationships
• Metro Atlanta experience and relationships a plus

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple, concurrent projects
• Leading design team efforts
• Successfully managing project budgets and schedules
• Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team
• Mentoring junior staff
• Preparation and processing of civil construction documents

Benefits

• Expected Base Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 based on experience.
• Possible Signing Bonus based on experience.
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
