The Citrix Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the organization's virtualized application and desktop infrastructure, with a specific focus on supporting Epic systems. This role involves planning, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing the Citrix environment and associated operating systems to support core clinical and business functions. The Citrix Administrator will leverage strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills to identify, resolve, and proactively prevent issues, ensuring seamless access to critical applications, including Epic. This individual will collaborate closely with clinical and IT teams to align system performance and availability with organizational needs. Additionally, the Citrix Administrator will provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior IT staff, driving operational excellence and ensuring a best-in-class IT infrastructure that supports the clinical and business objectives of Oklahoma Heart Hospital (OHH). The role will also focus on meeting regulatory, security, and compliance requirements as defined by OHH Leadership.

Requirements

  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of hands-on experience in Citrix administration with an emphasis on healthcare IT environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience with Epic systems integration and performance optimization in Citrix environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITECH.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification preferred. (CCA-V, CCP-V, and CCA-AppDS)
  • Additional experience in VMware, Nutanix, Dell HCI, Cisco UCS, Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and SAN storage management is highly desirable.
  • PACS systems deployment utilizing VDA and vGPU technology.

Responsibilities
