About The Position

The Cisco Enterprise Agreement (EA) Specialist is responsible for driving growth through the identification, development, and execution of Cisco Enterprise Agreements across commercial and public sector customers at Aspire. This role partners closely with Cisco and Aspire sales and other internal stakeholders to hunt for EA opportunities, build long-term customer agreements, and ensure successful deal execution from strategy through close. The ideal candidate brings strong Cisco licensing knowledge, a proactive “hunter” mindset, and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable, multi-year EA solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Cisco sales, licensing, or partner roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Agreements and subscription-based licensing models.
  • Proven experience hunting and building complex, multi-year technology agreements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Proactively hunt for new Cisco EA opportunities within existing and net-new accounts
  • Analyze customer environments, contracts, and renewal cycles to identify EA-fit opportunities.
  • Drive EA pipeline creation by identifying accounts suitable for multi-year, multi-architecture agreements.
  • Develop account-specific EA strategies aligned to customer business and technology goals.
  • Lead the build and structuring of Cisco Enterprise Agreements, including scope, architecture selection, and term alignment.
  • Work closely with Cisco and Aspire account teams and presales architects to design competitive, compliant EA proposals.
  • Support pricing strategy, deal positioning, and justification for EA adoption.
  • Ensure accurate configuration, quoting, and documentation throughout the EA lifecycle.
  • Act as a trusted EA subject matter expert to sales account managers.
  • Partner with sales teams to position EAs effectively during customer conversations.
  • Provide enablement and guidance to sales on Cisco EA value propositions, use cases, and best practices.
  • Participate in customer meetings and presentations as the EA lead.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, finance, PMO, and delivery teams to ensure smooth EA execution.
  • Support renewals, expansions, and true-forwards for existing Cisco EAs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Cisco stakeholders to stay current on programs, incentives, and changes.

  • Assist Aspire with their business by maintaining effective relationships through communication, motivation and engagement.
  • Partner with sales and presales teams to engage directly with customers to understand business objectives, technical environments, and long-term IT strategies.
  • Lead customer-facing discussions to educate stakeholders on the value, structure, and benefits of Cisco Enterprise Agreements.
  • Translate customer requirements into EA-aligned solutions that drive adoption across Cisco architectures.
  • Support customers through the EA decision-making process, addressing questions around licensing, consumption, compliance, and flexibility.
  • Partner with Cisco and Aspire account teams to drive post-sale EA adoption and usage optimization.
  • Monitor EA consumption and adoption trends, proactively identifying expansion or optimization opportunities.
  • Assist with customer onboarding and enablement to ensure successful EA rollout and long-term value realization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the EA lifecycle, from initial engagement through renewal.
  • Track EA pipeline, wins, and performance metrics.
  • Identify trends, lessons learned, and optimization opportunities to improve EA adoption and success.
  • Contribute to process improvements and EA playbooks.
