About The Position

Join Our Team as a Circuit Design Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment. Location: This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Raptor Avionics, is a hardware design group. We support multiple projects and programs with circuit board design and analysis. To be effective in this role, you will need: Experience in development phase of aerospace hardware. Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers. Experience in presentations and in written communication skills. A Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline. 5+ years of professional experience. Requirements

  • Experience in development phase of aerospace hardware.
  • Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
  • Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
  • A Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience related to analog circuit design and analysis.
  • Experience in circuit simulation and analysis.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Power Converter circuit Design and Analysis.
  • Experience in Worst Case Analysis (WCA) for Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) designs.
  • Experience with card test requirements and process.
  • Ability to interpret electrical circuits, interfaces, and interconnect diagrams.
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Understanding of PWB layout process and manufacturing.
  • Understanding CCA and box manufacturing.
  • Experience in CCA Test and Troubleshooting.
  • Experience in box testing through environments (EMI/EMC, shock, vibe, TVAC).
  • Experience in STE development and test.
  • Experience in FPGA requirements and design support.
  • Knowledge of Space Part Standards.
  • Experience with program reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR.
  • Experience in full design life cycle (requirements, design, build, test and launch).
  • Experience with program and customer support.
  • Experience in supporting mechanical analyses such as stress, thermal and solder fatigue.
