About The Position

The CIP Operator position is responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas, disassembling and reassembling equipment according to company policy and procedure, ensuring all GMP, safety and 5S standards are met. Conagra Brands is hiring for a CIP Operator to help prepare and sanitize the equipment that creates products like Marie Calendar, Banquet, and Healthy Choice at their Council Bluffs, IA manufacturing facility. This role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and is part of a team of about 60. The shift is 3rd shift, 10:30pm – 7am, Monday through Friday. Requirements

Lockout Tagout Certified
Have knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods
Lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Responsibilities

Inspect and clean equipment and work areas
Disassemble and reassemble equipment according to company policy and procedure
Ensure all GMP, safety and 5S standards are met
Help prepare production equipment for cleaning following Lockout Tagout procedures
Provide both visual and swab checks periodically to ensure sanitation effectiveness
Keep minimum downtime top of mind when performing pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections
