About The Position

The CIP Operator position is responsible for but not limited to inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas, disassembling and reassembling equipment according to company policy and procedure ensuring all GMP, safety and 5S standards are met. We are hiring for a CIP Operator to help prepare and sanitize the equipment that creates our savory Marie Calendar, Banquet, and Healthy Choice products and more at our Council Bluffs, IA manufacturing facility. You will report to the Sanitation Supervisor and join a team of about 60. Requirements

Lockout Tagout Certified
Have knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods
Lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Responsibilities

Inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas
Disassembling and reassembling equipment according to company policy and procedure
Ensuring all GMP, safety and 5S standards are met
Helping to prepare production equipment for cleaning following Lockout Tagout procedures
Providing both visual and swab checks periodically to ensure sanitation effectiveness
Keeping minimum downtime top of mind when performing pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections
