About The Position

Looking for a fun and meaningful summer job working with kids? We’re hiring reliable, caring, and energetic Seasonal Summer Sitters to join our respite care team! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on childcare experience, build your resume, and enjoy a flexible summer schedule that works for you.
You’ll focus on creating meaningful connections and fun summer experiences with children, while we provide the support of a caring team and opportunities to make a real difference.
When you’re a child’s caregiver, you’re not just supervising, you’re inspiring them with the very best of you.

Requirements

• Able to provide 3 references: 2 non-family childcare-related (paid or unpaid) and 1 character reference
• At least 1 year of childcare experience (special needs experience a plus!)
• Compassionate, reliable, and safety-focused
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Reliable vehicle + valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain—we’ll reimburse you!)
• Available during summer months, with shifts of at least 4 hours (daytime and evening shifts available)
• Comfortable working with children ages 6 months–12+ years
• Able to lift 35 lbs, stay active, and react quickly to ensure child safety

• Be Adventurous – Explore parks, backyard fun, and summer activities while encouraging curiosity and joy.
• Be in Charge – Ensure safety, provide structure, and create positive, memorable summer days.
