As a Children’s Ambassador, you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for a safe, supportive, and uplifting experience. This is more than a role—it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on children, families, and our community. ✨ What You’ll Do Welcome with warmth and empathy: Actively greet visitors with kindness, compassion, and understanding—recognizing that families may be experiencing stress, worry, or joy. Your presence ensures a positive and comforting first impression. Guide with care: Badge and screen guests according to visitation guidelines, then help them navigate the facility with confidence. Support families: Determine destinations and transportation needs, offering assistance every step of the way. Transport patients safely: Provide internal patient transport that is both secure and engaging. Keep us moving: Stock and move wheelchairs, strollers, and carts to ensure accessibility across the facility. 💡 What We’re Looking For High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least one year of customer service experience, including conflict management. Understanding of developmental needs across all age groups—from neonatal to adult. Strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills. Confidence and composure in stressful situations, with the ability to diffuse negativity. Critical thinking skills to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bilingual abilities preferred. CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) required within 90 days of hire. 🕒 Scheduling Requirements On-call shift: Required approximately once every two weeks. This is a paid “stand by” shift for illness replacement. Coverage includes 1st and 2nd shift on Saturday and Sunday. 3rd shift on-call coverage is required seven days a week. Weekend availability: Every other weekend is required. Requirements
