About The Position
St. Mary of the Knobs School in Floyds Knobs, is hiring a Childcare Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsible for the operation and leadership at St. Mary of the Knobs Childcare Ministry. Trains and supervises staff, manages activities, and works to build a rapport with parents in order to ensure a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for the children.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day scheduling and activities for childcare
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities
- Monitor students and employees
- Train, encourage, and mentor employees
- Administer record keeping
- Ensure that the childcare ministry is in compliance with state requirements
- Maintain rapport with parents
- Work actively with employees and students to maintain high standards
- Hire and train employees
- Meet with school principal and parents as needed
- Create instructional resources as needed
