HOPE ~ HEALTH ~ HEALING CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER Terros Health is recruiting for an experienced Chief Technology Officer to join our executive leadership team in Phoenix, AZ. The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Terros Health serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s information systems strategy in alignment with its mission of delivering whole-person, community-based healthcare. The CTO provides vision, leadership, and oversight for all technology initiatives, ensuring that systems and processes support clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation across the enterprise. Data security and data handling governance also align under the CTO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems (MIS), or Health Care Informatics/Information Systems (Master’s preferred) or comparable combination of education and experience
  • 10+ experience in technology services, including at least 5 years in leadership, and at least 5 years in healthcare, with expertise in strategic planning and technology implementation.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, EHR systems, and business intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
  • Commitment to Terros Health’s values of compassion, integrity, and empowerment.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen and TB test
  • Strategic vision to align IT with organizational goals and growth.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and healthcare systems (EHR, HIPAA)
  • Ability to use analytics to drive decisions and innovation.
  • Strong communication acumen to translate complex tech into clear business language.
  • Change Management expertise to lead digital transformation and inspire adoption.
  • A focus on high trust and high collaboration to build strong cross functional partnerships.
  • Ability to develop and mentor high‑performing IT teams.
  • Emotional Intelligence to stay resilient and empathetic under pressure.
