JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) provides strategic, innovative, and forward-thinking leadership in the planning, implementation, and management of all district technology systems and services. This role ensures that technology aligns seamlessly with the mission, vision, and instructional goals of the school district while advancing digital transformation across all departments. The CTO oversees the design, procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications, infrastructure, and end-user technologies. Responsibilities include data systems architecture, cybersecurity and network security operations, cloud and hybrid infrastructure management, identity and access management (IAM), and disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Through a collaborative and service-oriented approach, the CTO ensures that all technology initiatives-ranging from classroom digital learning environments and instructional software to enterprise data systems and network connectivity operate reliably, securely, and efficiently. The position provides strategic oversight of technical support operations, driving innovation, interoperability, and sustainability to enhance teaching, learning, and operational excellence districtwide
