About The Position

NASC is seeking a part-time Chief Technology Officer to support the President and Executive Vice President.

Responsibilities

• Advise Corporate Leadership
• Provide strategic and technical guidance to the company President & Executive Vice President
• Use knowledge of potential & existing customer interests to guide corporate investments
• Collect Knowledge Base
• Access corporate sectors as necessary to establish necessary guidance
• Review company product areas for potential “Dual Use” technology applications
• Maintain knowledge of customer research and applied technologies through participation in customer sponsored events and individual discussions as available
• Maintain knowledge of Sector developments & accomplishments through frequent interactions as deemed necessary with Sector leadership
• Focus areas initially to include ASW & Advanced Acoustics but expanding to include Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Combat Systems, and Airborne Systems
• Advocate for Enhancement of Corporate Capabilities
• Identify required technical tools to advance corporate capabilities and ability to attract new business
• Assist corporate leadership in prioritizing capital investments
• Incumbent will report findings & recommendations to the company President and Executive Vice President on an agreed frequency with ad hoc updates provided as necessary
