About The Position

We are a leading B2B provider of employee recognition, sales incentive, and channel engagement solutions for enterprise customers. As we continue to expand our cloud-based offerings and the use of artificial intelligence in our solutions, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTO will be responsible for driving the company's technology vision, strategy, and execution. This executive leads the on-going transformation to cloud-native SaaS platforms, oversees technical execution, and ensures our products are scalable, secure, and reliable. The CTO collaborates closely with the business to align technical delivery with business priorities and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as CTO or senior technology leader in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company.
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and cloud-native architecture.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies (e.g., Watsonx, CoPilot/ChatGPT) and their practical applications in enterprise solutions.
  • Insatiable curiosity. Always researching and thinking about the next big technology innovation, while also staying grounded in the here and now.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Track record of leading large-scale digital transformations and product innovation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience working with Fortune 500 clients and complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with incentive, recognition or engagement platforms.
  • Background in cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the architecture, design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and reliable SaaS solutions.
  • Lead the transition to cloud-native platforms, leveraging a microservices-based architecture to enable scalability, flexibility, and rapid innovation.
  • Champion the establishment of a technology ecosystem that ensures seamless integration with strategic partners and simplifies connectivity for customers.
  • Ensure technology decisions support enterprise-grade performance, compliance, and security.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing engineering and product development team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set high expectations regarding delivery quality and time to market, while holding the team accountable.
  • Champion adoption of AI/ML technologies to enhance product capabilities and improve software engineering productivity.
  • Work closely with the business to ensure technical execution aligns with business vision and priorities.
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with strategic technology partners, including Workday, IBM, Salesforce, and others, to ensure our solutions are seamlessly integrated, secure, and scalable.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Client Services and Business Units.
