About The Position

We’re looking for a Chief Technology Officer to lead Software Engineering, and AI strategy at a company that has already achieved significant scale $150M+ in ARR and growing fast. This role is designed for a proven technology leader who has operated at similar stages of growth and understands what it takes to evolve platforms, teams, and processes as a business moves from rapid scale to sustained market leadership. You’ll be responsible for setting up a clear technical vision that supports continued expansion while increasing reliability, speed, and leverage across the organization. This is not a “figurehead” CTO role; you’ll be deeply involved in guiding architecture, strengthening execution discipline, and building a performance-oriented software engineering culture that can scale without slowing down. The ideal candidate brings firsthand experience from high-growth startups at or beyond this stage, pairing strong technical judgement with an AI-forward mindset. You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to ensure technology remains a growth accelerator, embedding AI into how products are built; teams operate, and customers experience our platform.

Requirements

  • Proven CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent experience at a high-growth startup or technology company with $100M+ ARR.
  • Demonstrated success scaling software engineering teams, platforms, and products in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong track record of building performance-driven, accountable, and execution-focused cultures.
  • Deep understanding of modern software development practices, cloud infrastructure, and scalable system design.
  • AI-forward mindset, hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development, LLMs, automation, and data-driven product innovation.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, comfortable in architecture discussions and executive planning rooms.
  • Clear communicator who can align technical teams with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own technology outcomes tied to revenue performance, with direct accountability for ARR growth, expansion, and retention metrics.
  • Drive EBITDA performance through capital-efficient execution, increasing product velocity and output per team to deliver more revenue-impacting product to market faster—without linear growth in cost.
  • Leverage an AI-forward development strategy, embedding AI-first thinking into how products are designed, built, and shipped.
  • Lead AI-driven product innovation, delivering customer-facing AI capabilities with defined monetization, adoption, and margin improvement targets.
  • Drive product execution against clear KPIs, including time-to-market, launch success, adoption, and revenue impact of new capabilities.
  • Build a performance-oriented software engineering organization, with leaders and teams held accountable to operational KPIs such as uptime, scalability, security, and customer experience.
  • Increase software engineering productivity and efficiency, measured through delivery predictability, cycle time reduction, and output per engineer, leveraging AI-assisted development and automation.
  • Scale platforms and operating models to support growth while meeting enterprise-grade expectations for reliability, compliance, and global availability.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to align technical priorities with pipeline conversion, average deal size, and net revenue retention.
