About The Position

Champlain Insurance Group is a fast-growing, specialty, surplus and excess lines insurance enterprise, which, through our affiliates, Champlain Specialty Insurance Company, WestCongress Insurance Services LLC, and WestCongress Risk Services LLC, offers primary and excess general liability insurance solutions and claims administration throughout the United States. Job Summary Leads research and develops pricing strategies and tactics for product lines and market segments that optimize sales, revenue, and market penetration. Oversee research and analysis processes to develop insights about customers, competition, geographies, market segments, capacity, and business environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business/management
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in sales, marketing and revenue field required, with career progression into senior management position
  • Ability to address complex issues and execute multifaceted plans for a variety of functions.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, continuing to deliver quality service and consistently meet deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience with Marketing, Sales management, Revenue Technology and Systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations business leaders
  • Travel may be required
  • Proactive leader with ability to collaborate and develop emerging talent

Responsibilities

  • Participate on senior leadership team to establish goals and deliver strategies through direct sales team management, new business development, marketing strategy, systems communication, distribution, strategic partnerships, customer experience and brand marketing innovations
  • Lead strategic planning efforts for the commercial disciplines, ensuring that programs and initiatives align to company-wide business objectives and strategies
  • Analyzing/forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies across all of channels
  • Focus on user experience and brand experience excellence across all consumer touch-points from initial brand impression through sales funnel to closing
  • Collaborates with teams across functions to develop targets, promotions, new products, and go-to-market pricing.
  • Drives the creation of models, tools, and databases used to test pricing and maintain responsiveness to changes in the competitive environment
