About The Position

Mountain Pacific is seeking a strategic, mission-driven Chief Program Officer (CPO) to join our executive leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CPO ensures programs are aligned with the organization’s mission, strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, and performance goals. This role drives program efficiency, effectiveness, excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and measurable outcomes that demonstrate impact. The CPO leads program strategy, performance, and quality, ensuring alignment with funding requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational priorities. Working collaboratively with executive peers, program leaders, and community partners, the CPO drives innovation, operational excellence, and data-informed decision-making while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning. This position participates in the strategic and operational governance processes of the business organization as a member of the executive leadership team and directly supervises the Patient Services team, Health Quality Solutions team, and Analytics & Data Services team. A successful candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in health services, quality improvement, business administration, public health or a related field with a master’s degree preferred with 8 years of experience in leadership and 8 years of increasingly responsible experience in health care administration, including program evaluation, planning, or quality improvement or equivalent degree and/or experience. This is a remote, full-time executive role offering the opportunity to shape programs that bring national public health priorities to the local and regional levels. Travel is required with this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health services, quality improvement, business administration, public health or a related field
  • 8 years of experience in leadership
  • 8 years of increasingly responsible experience in health care administration, including program evaluation, planning, or quality improvement or equivalent degree and/or experience
  • Travel is required with this position.
